Delicious food, you can taste that the chef actually cares and the food is perfectly seasoned. And the girl who served us was honestly really nice and what is most important for me (as working in a hospitality industry) - she didn’t have that fake smile and “kindness” as u can see on most servers in Vancouver. I keep meaning to try something other than the tacos and flatbread special but can’t seem to deviate. We love to stop by here to grab a bite and browse the amazing selection of BC wines thoughtfully curated. We visited yesterday and tho there was a chill in the air, the patio has heaters that allowed us to enjoy dining outdoors. David and his team offer a wonderful customer experience and I recommend giving them a try when on the Sunshine Coast. See you again soon!
First time I've been there and the food was amazing. My aunt and I tried the Rueben sandwich, hers with yam fries and mine with salad and the sweet dressing. Both were awesome! The gentleman at the counter was super nice!
Food is INCREDIBLE! So fresh, proper food. I had the Bombay Bowl insanely delicious. Warm curried quinoa packed full with steamed greens and a variety of veggies. If you're looking for some nutrients after a long hike or great day on the water, this is it. My guest had the coconut curried pierogies what the heck I could have devoured 18 of them. We almost asked for a second order to go. Back patio is beautiful, so cozy
Very laid back atmosphere, enjoyed the outdoor patio and had some delicious pulled pork tacos and a daily Korean hot dog special. Will definitely come back!
VQA wines you can't find anywhere else in BC, other than the wineries? Check. Fresh, creative daily specials? Double-check. Cool local art and frozen take out meals, and gourmet food store? Triple check. Every time I go I get the Bootine....potato perogies with miso gravy, and roasted veggies. It's the absolute . And don't miss out on the best caeser on the coast.
We visited The Gumboot Restaurant and tried the Buddha Bowl and Veggie burgers, which came with fries and other side options. The food was absolutely delicious, very filling, and full of flavor! The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive. A great dining experience overall!
Good community restaurant for families. Kids can play in the yard. They provide some games (like Etcha-Sketch from the 1970’s).
